ONE DAY WORKSHOPS
These occasional programs offer a one-day introduction to the McClosky Technique. Learn the basics of posture, breathing, and relaxation, together with information on vocal health and tips on the speaking voice.
AN INTRODUCTION TO VOCAL TECHNIQUE
Enrich your understanding of the voice at our introductory one-day workshops.
You will experience the McClosky Technique, a simple series of relaxation exercises and steps for correct postural alignment that can dramatically improve the speaking and singing voice.
Those who use the technique report greater strength, improved range and flexibility, greater depth of tone, and better vocal endurance, even under demanding vocal conditions.
A Certified McClosky Voice Technician will also show you practical ways to care for your voice on a daily basis, and will lead two interactive sessions:
-
Song to Speech (the relationship of the singing and speaking voice)
-
How to Practice using the McClosky Technique
Singers: enrich your tone, resonance, stamina, and ease of vocal production.

Speakers and Teachers: improve your endurance, expressiveness and power throughout the day.
